 It is a colorless chemical solution that increases the abrasion resistance of concrete floors exposed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic. HARD SEAL penetrates deep into the surface of concrete, increasing its density, strengthening and compacting it, as well as making the surface water-repellent. HARD SEAL floors have a longer lifespan, are cheaper to maintain, are safe to use and are guaranteed not to generate dust for a long time. HARD SEAL, chemically acting on the surface of the concrete, does not change its natural roughness and prevents sliding on the surface of the concrete floor.

 This formulation is VOC-free, odorless, environmentally friendly and meets European environmental requirements.
 It is easy to apply, has an economical consumption and does not require a special application tool.

 Properties:
 Through a chemical ion exchange process, HARD SEAL forms silicon geopolymers, the internal bonds of which increase the density of the concrete substrate to a hardened, chemically cured, homogeneous concrete mass, resistant to abrasion, oil and water penetration. This chemical ion exchange process begins immediately after treatment and continues for the first six months after application.

 HARD SEAL is safe to use. It is odorless, which allows it to be used in rooms where people work. It can also be applied in close proximity to food without fear of chemical contamination. HARD SEAL is safe to store and not fire hazardous.

 HARD SEAL treated floors offer significant maintenance savings over conventional acrylic, epoxy and urethane topcoats. HARD SEAL will not yellow, discolor, chip, flake or show unsightly visible signs of wear with use.
 HARD SEAL is recommended for concrete floors subject to heavy to moderate traffic from forklift trucks and towing vehicles, such as warehouse floors, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, textile mills, beverage bottling plants, refrigerators and freezers, food processing plants, canning factories , breweries, bakeries, meat and poultry processing enterprises, maintenance garages, grocery stores, wholesale and retail centers, transport hubs.

 It can also be used on concrete floors that are heavily affected by pedestrian traffic, such as civic centers, sports arenas, stadiums, hospitals, airports, museums and schools. And also in places subject to low chemical attack: parking lot, storage bins, wastewater treatment plants, dairies, fish processing plants, petroleum refining plants and water treatment plants.
 Also, the composition can be used as a partial waterproofing for walls and ceilings, as a reinforcement of concrete structures, protection against destruction.
 Application procedure:
 After the final finishing with the trowel and the water gloss disappear from the surface, keep the concrete wet for at least 3 days. Before applying HARD SEAL, clear the concrete from any dirt and debris.
 Application:
 Apply an undiluted, uniform layer directly from a bucket at a rate of 3-5 m2 / liter in two coats. Rub vigorously into the surface with a power or hand brush. Rubbing in will help achieve maximum penetration and begin polishing tightly scrubbed floors.

 Dampen the surface with HARD SEAL product for at least 30 minutes and continue rubbing with a power or hand brush. One coat of HARD SEAL is usually sufficient. However, under certain circumstances, it is recommended to apply two coats, namely: on porous surfaces, surfaces with a rough texture or concrete after brushing; on concrete with poor finish or not gaining strength; and where maximum protection against oil and other contaminants is required. The second coat can be applied 2-4 hours after the first or at any time later. Once the residue has been rinsed off, the floors are ready for use.
 Surface preparation of old concrete:
 Surfaces must be clean and structurally sound. Remove existing residues, oil, protective coatings, contaminants and laitance from the surface in order to ensure maximum penetration and chemical reaction. Fill up all holes, cracks and poor quality areas. Avoid acid etching and mechanical stripping whenever possible. For strong cleaning and removal of black marks from rubber tires, we recommend using environmentally friendly products.
 Cleaning tools:
 With water, immediately after use. Immediately rinse off any material on glass and aluminum or heavily polished surfaces with water to prevent etching. Do not allow excess HARD SEAL to dry on the surface. Dried material can only be removed mechanically.
 Storage:
 In a cool and dry place, protected from frost. Store opened packaging tightly sealed. Storage stability in tightly closed original packaging is approximately 12 months.

 Consumption:
 Approximately 3-6 m2 / l, depending on the absorbency of the substrate. The most accurate method of setting the flow rate is a test application.
 Drying time:
 To apply the second layer, after 5-20 minutes at 20 ° C and 65% relative humidity. Paint the treated surface no earlier than after 2 days.
 Processing temperature:
 + 5 ° C minimum for substrate and atmosphere during processing and drying.
